80 women. 800 kilometres. Four days on 110cc postie bikes. Roads that don't show up on most people's maps. Rides for a good cause.

Now in its fourth year, the sister ride to the Late Mail Postie Bike Ride, which has raised over $2 million for Wings4Kidz since it began in Mudgee more than a decade ago, set off from Orange and wound their way through Blayney, Bathurst, Sofala, Mudgee, Ballimore and Wellington, finishing at Dubbo Zoo.

The riders cover their own costs - all the money raised goes directly to Wings4Kidz, a registered charity. While ride is over in 2026, the need for donations is still there.

About Wings4Kidz

Wings4Kidz provides free air and ground transport for children in regional communities for medical appointments. Our mission is to keep families together during their child's treatment, by providing safe travel for their journey to and from their appointments.

Why your donation matters

If you live in a remote area, having a child diagnosed with a serious medical condition and having to attend appointments far from home could mean days, weeks or months off work with lost income, plus additional costs in travel, accommodation and meals. This could easily add up to a few thousand dollars a week. Many families simply can't afford it.

Wings4Kidz flights make a significant difference for children and their families during the most traumatic and stressful challenges a family can face. We provide a timely and cost effective way for children to receive emergency and ongoing treatment.
