Trillion Trees (formerly Men of the Trees) is a Western Australia not-for-profit charity founded in 1979. Since that time, we have planted close to 15 million native trees to restore biodiversity and encourage the growth of healthy tree canopies in both urban and rural settings.
Give the Gift of Trees: Looking for the perfect gift - such as a birthday, anniversary, Christmas, Valentine's day? Then how about giving the gift of trees? It's unique and a wonderful tribute to someone you love. Plus, all donations to Trillion Trees $2 and above are tax-deductible and tax receipts are emailed immediately. There's never been a time to help us plant trees!
The Trillion Trees Challenge:
A world audit of trees, led by Crowther of Yale University, shows there are just three trillion trees left in the world. This is half of what there used to be and the numbers of trees are still declining. Trees are essential to life as we know it. Here is our challenge to you to bring about the change the world needs:
If each of the 7.5+ billion people on this planet plant 140 trees we will have 1 trillion more trees in the world.
It costs on average $5 per tree planted in larger community planting initiatives. This includes finding the land, growing strong seedling, preparing the ground for planting, organising the resources for planting and aftercare and site management for 2-3 years.
Donations of $2 and above are tax-deductible.
2 trees = $10
5 trees = $25
10 trees = $50
100 trees = $500
The magic number 140 trees = $700
How will the funds be used?
The funds will be used to support getting trees in the ground, and growing awareness of the importance of trees to life itself.
Key Areas of Expenditure

Follow up monitoring and infill of planted areas
